A few days ago, a police officer in Lezhë was suspended from duty with the motivation that, according to the police, he appeared in an unprofessional communication with two foreign tourists during the exercise of his duty.
At a time when Albania is flooded by the influx of tourists, the behavior of Albanians, and especially state employees towards them, must be very good, in order not to create incidents and not to spoil the good image that the country is getting from tourism .
But what happened to the Albanian policeman who was suspended and transferred to another task because of this incident?
The policeman of Lezha Street has actually performed his duty very well. He stopped the vehicle in which the two German tourists were traveling, explained the violation, imposed a fine of 1,000 Lek according to the Highway Code, and since the foreign nationals paid it at the moment, the fine was reduced to 500 Lek.
The problem starts when the police exchanged contacts on Instagram with the two girls, which would not have been known if one of them had not filmed and published this on her address on the Tik Tok application. The video went viral and the Albanian policeman ended up suspended. Even with the public condemnation and mockery of the policeman who, according to the moralists, had gone out to hunt.

Everything seems normal, within the rules.
Only one day later, on all social networks, from Facebook, to Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube, all Albanians did not remain without liking, commenting and sharing the video of another policeman, this time a German who together with the Albanian fans in Hamburg, before the match with Croatia, danced with the fans to the rhythm of the drum and even made the eagle sign with both hands.

We don't know for sure if the German policeman was suspended and transferred to another position for conduct unethical.
If it had happened, we would have known for sure. It would probably have become a case in Germany as well, like the Albanian policeman of Lezha.
A video with 760,000 views in Germany was enough for the latter to become a victim in Albania.
The German policeman with many more clicks, likes and shares, became a hero from the same virtual people and the same Albanian media that made fun of the Lezha policeman./Taken from SI newspaper .
