The lawyer of the family of 14-year-old Martin Cani, who was stabbed to death by his peer near the "Fan Noli" school, Redi Ramaj, has called for justice and full transparency on the tragic event. Invited to News24, Ramaj emphasized that the victim's family members have demanded a full investigation of the incident from the very beginning, but so far they have faced contradictions and a lack of clarity from the investigative bodies.

According to the lawyer, there is uncertainty about the number of perpetrators involved in the incident. Initially, eight authors were reported, while currently there are three. He also said that the statements of witnesses, including another injured child, should be taken seriously. In their testimonies, it is said that the victim was also hit by another person besides the perpetrator announced so far.

An important issue raised by the lawyer is the lack of family members' access to security camera footage. He said that the family wants to get to know these evidences in order to achieve peace and better understand the circumstances of the tragedy. According to Ramaj, an important point that requires attention is the investigation of the possibility of involvement of adults in this fatal conflict.

"The families of the deceased demand justice from the first day. We did not have full transparency about the event from the state bodies. It is a serious event that should not have been clarified only for Martin Cani's family members, but for the whole society, which demands justice. I hope and believe that the police will do their duty. The claim of the family members is that there is no transparency and there are contradictions in the police statements. It starts with 8 perpetrators and then 3 emerge. The statements of the injured, the other child who said that he was hit by a person other than the perpetrator must be clarified. The wounded man, Luisi, told the police on the first day that he was hit by two people, perpetrators. Martini's family members have requested the footage of the security cameras. The prosecutor's office, which directs the investigations, should direct the investigative mechanism, including testimony, scientific evidence, expert reports to make available to us how the event happened and how Martin was killed. The footage has not been seen by family members. There are witnesses who say that there is not only a conflict on the 18th, but there is also a conflict on Friday where an adult is also involved.
