8 fires still active in Albania, 120 personnel, 2 helicopters and 2 planes on

8 fires remain active in the country, out of 35 reported in the last 24 hours. 120 Armed Forces personnel, 2 helicopters and 2 Air Tractor aircraft are operating on the ground, the Ministry of Defense says.

2 Air Tractor aircraft and 1 water tanker have been activated in the Lura National Park. The homes are safe due to the corridors that have been opened to prevent the advance of the flames.

In Dajt, 2 helicopters are working to extinguish the fire above the Qafë-Molla tunnels, but there is no danger to residential areas. The fire is also under control in Priska and Farka.

In Kruja, efforts are being made to extinguish fires in Abaz and Zidoll, but without danger to residential areas.

Other foci are in Lufaj in Lezha, Dardhë in Elbasan, the forests of Tërbun in Shkodër, in Qafë Helmes and Bulqizë-Selishtë in Dibra.
