Five teenagers, aged 13 to 16, have been arrested by the Greek police after they attempted to rape a female classmate in the school yard. Neighboring media report that among the 5 arrested there is also an Albanian.

The serious incident happened yesterday afternoon. It was the minor's mother, a 45-year-old woman, who reported the attempted rape of her daughter to the police.

"At 11 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, the girl was in the courtyard of the gymnasium, five minor classmates, acting together, raped her and then beat her on the chest and genitals," she said.

The girl, resisting, managed to leave the scene. The investigative team managed to identify and arrest the members of the group and their parents while they were at home. They are two 15-year-olds, a 16-year-old Roma, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old from Albania.
