30 people end up in the hospital in Bulqiza, it is suspected that they were poisoned by the polluted water

The water company has cut off the water supply in the village of Gjoricë in Bulqiza, since only a day ago (June 3, 2023), 30 residents presented themselves at the health center with symptoms of poisoning.

The cause of the poisoning is suspected to be contaminated water.

From the preliminary analysis that was done, the water was found to be contaminated and therefore measures were taken to stop the water supply until the result of the laboratory analysis.

The Investigation Group in cooperation with the National Food Authority continues the investigations.
