A 22-year-old Albanian man has been arrested in Rimini, Italy, after a 20-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually abused by a young man of Albanian origin.

The incident happened last night in a nightclub. The 22-year-old was there with his friends, as reported by the Italian media, all Albanians. In the bar they met a group of girls. The young Albanian asked one of the girls to leave the nightclub and she agreed. But in the parking lot of the bar he started harassing her, trying to kiss and touch her.

He then forcibly sexually abused her. The 20-year-old left and called her friends, who then notified the police. The carabinieri went to the scene, but the Albanian had escaped. Authorities were able to identify him and arrested him Sunday morning.

The 22-year-old lives in Vallefoglia with a relative and works for a construction company. The young man was taken into custody and is expected to appear in court on security measures on Monday or Tuesday.

The 20-year-old girl was transported to the hospital, where doctors found signs of violence in the private parts. She was held for several hours under the care of doctors and then taken home.
