10 million tourists in 2023, here are the countries of origin! Kosovo leads

Albania recorded in 2023 one of the best years for tourism in the country. According to the statistics of Prime Minister Edi Rama's government, a little more than 10 million tourists visited our country throughout the year.

In first place, not surprisingly, are Albanian citizens from Kosovo, with about 4 million entries.

In second place are the Italians with about 1 million tourists. A large influx of Italians was noticed on the Albanian coast for the first time.

Tourists from Macedonia, Greece, and Montenegro are ranked 3rd, 4th, and 5th, respectively, with about 600,000 tourists from each country.

178 thousand tourists during 2023 were American citizens.
