The reaction of the director of protected areas in Librazhd:

" Zalli i Rrapuni at its lowest quota of water flows. The main causes are related to climate changes, when during the winter there was not enough snowfall and frost, and as a result water sources and internal underground accumulations have been exhausted!

The high temperatures are almost increasing every year by 1-2 degrees Celsius, completely changing the climate and the behavior of plants and the animal world.

The future is bleak, the biggest fight will be the fight for WATER, due to the very fact that climate change is disorienting all ecological balances ", writes the municipal official.

The former mayor of Prrenjas, Miranda Rira, has commented affirming that the lack of water in this river that originates from Shebenik is due to the construction of the hydropower plant there.
