The police have identified the driver of the vehicle who was involved in an accident yesterday evening in Lushnja and lost his life. It is about 29-year-old Erjon Kuka.

Kuka was identified after many hours of verification, as his body was found dead inside.

"On 06.08.2024, around 23:40, in the village of Zhymë, citizen EK, 29 years old, while driving the vehicle, allegedly lost control and as a result the vehicle went off the road. From the injuries received, the EK citizen lost his life", the police announced.

The serious accident happened near the village of Zhym, in the place called "Driver's Rest".

The young man had collided first with an electric pole and then with a concrete structure and ended up in a canal.

The dynamics of the accident still remain unknown, while the investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
