A 54-year-old man was injured by gunfire this Wednesday morning in Tirana. According to the Police, at around 06:50, 54-year-old Gëzim Aliaj presented himself to the hospital to receive medical attention, after allegedly being shot in the leg on "Josif Pashko" street.

 The 54-year-old is out of danger, while the circumstances of the incident still remain unclear.

"On 14.10.2026, at around 06:50, citizen GA, around 54 years old, presented himself for medical assistance at the hospital, suspected of being shot in the leg, on "Josif Pashko" street. His life is out of danger," the Police announced.

 The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances, identify and capture the perpetrator, as well as complete legal documentation of the case.
