Sandra Cuevas

Former mayor Sandra Cuevas has gone viral in Mexico for her appearance in a video she filmed among fans of the country's national team on the occasion of its participation in the 2026 World Cup.

Cuevas, who served as mayor of the city of Cuauhtémoc, celebrates the performances of the Mexican national team and the team's victories over South Africa and South Korea.

However, many pointed out her appearance in a blouse that showed off her cleavage, while she responded to her critics via The Sun newspaper: " Well, guys, what can I do? I can't just take it off ,"

"I don't take it as an attack, there will be those who think that way and take it with contempt, but that's how we Mexicans are," the Mexican politician added.

After her term as mayor from October 2021 to March 2024, Cuevas now works as coordinator of the political movement Mexico Nuevo.
