Messi, a "Worldwide" birthday!
Lionel Messi

The celebration cannot be complete, because it is during working hours.

Lionel Messi often celebrates his birthday during the final stages of World Cups or the South American Cup of Nations, and this time there could be no exception.

The greatest football legend of the 21st century, and perhaps of all time, celebrates his 39th birthday this Wednesday, while he is currently with the Argentina national team.

His friends and family have blown out his candles again and sung the familiar song of these occasions, even though the focus cannot be on this joy at all.

Messi is on a mission to win the World Cup again, just like he did 4 years ago in Qatar, although then he scored in December, in winter, not in summer like now.

The Argentina captain is shining brightly in this World Cup as well.

He became the all-time record holder for goals scored in these tournaments, with 18, two more than the old record holder Miroslav Klose of Germany.

He is also in first place in the race for the Golden Boot this year, with 5 goals, compared to Kylian Mbappe's 4 and Erling Haaland's 4.

Messi will be aiming for his final trophy with the national team, and if he succeeds, it would be the 46th in his glorious career, more than any player in history so far.
