The window considered starts from January 1 and lasts until the end of the transitional period, i.e. February 1.

However, the record also reached women's football. In fact, $2.1 million was spent in the last session of the winter market, or 2.5 times the amount spent in January 2023.
In the first place in the ranking of expenses for international transfers of male players in January 2024, French clubs occupy. In fact, total spending reached $291.9 million while January spending by English clubs, who top the summer transfer spending chart, fell dramatically by 80% compared to the record spending recorded in January 2023.
