Winning the championship title at Partizan is not enough. After Skënder Gegë in 2019, Giovanni Colella also leaves the bench just a few days after celebrating the trophy.

Through a status on social networks, "Bulls" have confirmed the divorce with the Italian technician.

"The coach leaves Partizan after a successful year where he and the team achieved the main objective, the championship title. We thank the mysterious Colella, who leaves Albania as the champion coach, for his contribution. We inform them that Partizan's door will remain open for other collaborations in the future", says the announcement of the capital club.

The Italian took charge of the "Bulls" during August last summer and led the team to win the championship title, the 17th in the history of the capital club.

Colella recorded 42 matches as Partizan's coach, with a positive balance of 24 wins, 8 draws and 10 losses. Colella becomes the next official to leave Partizan after the championship title, after the sports director, Elton Marini.

Partizan becomes the 9th club out of 10 Superliga teams to make changes to the bench this season, where the only survivor on the bench is Orges Shehi under the direction of Tirana.

Starting from the Champions League matches, the team will be entrusted to the Croatian with a German passport, Tomislav Stipić. The 43-year-old currently manages Riga in Latvia, also recording an impressive 17-match unbeaten run. Stipić was suggested by the former defender of the national team, Adrian Aliaj, and his signature is expected in the following hours.
