Spalletti with a headache, Barella and Fagioli endanger Albania
Luciano Spalletti

Italy will be Albania's first opponent in the European Championship Germany 2024, as Spalletti's blue team have also conducted their first training session on German soil, exactly in Iserlohn, where they will stay throughout the competition.

The session was open and was attended by a considerable number of Italians, who at the end also talked with coach Spalletti, with the latter not hesitating to highlight the importance of the support that comes from the stands.

But when there are still four days left before the face-off with Sylvinho's Albania, Spalletti can't remain completely calm, as the midfield is the ward that disturbs his sleep quite a bit.

Nicolo Barella has been injured for days and despite the optimism of the doctors, it seems difficult for him to play against the Rossoneri on Saturday night in Dortmund.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's session in Iserlohn, neither Nicolo Fagioli of Juventus nor Davide Frattesi of Inter did not train with the team. Both have shown physical problems, but if nothing seems worrying for Frattes, Fagioli's situation is quite different.

The latter comes after a long suspension of several months and does not have the rhythm of the matches, so the injury may affect his physical form quite a bit and the chances of him playing against Albania are significantly reduced for him as well.
