Tension in the German national team a few days before the start of Euro 2024. The defender of Real Madrid, Antonio Rudiger, almost collided physically with Nicklas Fullkrug during Germany's training.

An episode that took place in front of around 4,000 fans who had flocked to Germany's training camp to support the team that will compete in the top continental competition as hosts. According to what "Sport Bild" reports, everything happened during a normal training session.

The German players were practicing their crosses when the Real Madrid defender and the Borussia Dortmund forward clashed rather violently on several occasions.

The two were placed in different groups and, after a fierce duel, a real argument broke out. After the first frictions, in the next duel Rudiger pulled, held Fullkrug and pulled him down.

The striker, after taking a bad fall, began to abuse not only his team-mate, but also one of the members of the technical staff, who, according to him, was to blame for not stopping Rudiger.

At this point, the situation heated up and, after that, the footballers started to push each other, almost going into a physical collision.

It took the intervention of assistant coach Sandro Wagner to calm the situation.

Germany, the host of the tournament, will play the first challenge on Friday against Scotland. Their rivals in the group stage are Hungary and Switzerland.
