The prestigious "Forbes" has published the list of the 30 most valuable football clubs on the planet for 2023. The list is headed by Real Madrid, despite the fact that "Los Blancos" failed to win La Liga or the Champions League this season.
Florentino Perez's Galaxy are worth just £50m more than second-placed Manchester United.
Although the Glazers have put the Red Devils up for sale for £6 billion, Forbes values the club at £4.85 billion.
Then Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester City complete the top 5 of the most expensive clubs.
Only in sixth place are the German giants Bayern Munich, who are followed by Paris Saint-Germain, and the three Premier League teams, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal, who close the top ten.
Even MLS is included in the list of rich clubs with seven teams, while from the Italian Serie A we can only see Juventus in 11th place.
Then Milan, Inter and Roma are the complementary teams on the list.
Comparing the figures with last year, Newcastle with a 51% increase in value has seen the biggest rise in the classification.
Other big changes see Lyon increase by 47% or PSG by 32%, while Everton have suffered the biggest drop by -21%.
