Millions can buy anything, but not the desire to try for other trophies with the team of the heart. Faced with the "rain of money" that is arriving from Saudi Arabia, Luka Modric has chosen the passion to seek to leave his mark again with Real Madrid.

The former winner of the Golden Ball has renewed for another season with the 14-time European champions, thus rejecting the pharaonic offers that arrived from the Arab Super League of football.

Everything has been confirmed by the Spanish club that has made the Croatian midfielder official at least until the summer of next year. The 12th season in the Spanish capital for Modric, who arrived in Madrid from Tottenham in 2012.

Luka Modric will try to win again with the jersey of Real Madrid, where he has collected numerous team and individual trophies.

The 37-year-old has won 3 La Liga titles, 2 King's Cups, 4 Spanish Super Cups, 5 Champions Leagues, 4 European Super Cups and 5 Club World Cups. In 488 games in all competitions, Modric has scored 37 goals with the Real Madrid shirt.
