Football has entered the post-modern era. As things go in the coming months, December 21 will long be remembered as the date when the European Court of Justice ruled against UEFA, giving clubs the right to organize themselves, to create alternative tournaments, at least legally, without being threatened by UEFA and FIFA with sanctions.

Despite this decision, the clubs, the majority of them have come out against, or rather they have come out once again on the side of UEFA and FIFA. 

In Italy, Roma and Inter reacted publicly, only Napoli seems open to a new project. In England, the issue once again took on official proportions, with the League reacting publicly by standing up to UEFA, but fans are still divided. Not only the Premier League, but also the British government came out against it, stressing that English clubs cannot participate in other tournaments. La Liga also reacted publicly, not only with official reactions, but the teams went down to the field with jerseys with the inscription:

"Deserve it on the field". In Spain, the discussion is different, since the two biggest clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the main creators of the Super League. German football came out with an official note, promising loyalty to UEFA and FIFA.
