The Italian football club, Hellas Verona, is in serious trouble with the Italian justice system and risks bankruptcy, as the Bologna prosecutor's office has imposed a preventive seizure on 100% of the shares.

Under the microscope of the economic and financial police are several moves of the president Maurizio Setti, under investigation for bankruptcy.

As reported by GdF, the owner of the yellow and blue club had transferred all Scala shares from the share package of a joint stock company (attributed to him) without paying the amount.

The objective of the police was to shed light on sponsorships obtained by issuing false invoices from a paper company.

The operation known as "Cyrano" envisages the investigation of 26 people, including Setti, for various reasons. According to the investigators, it is a tax fraud with a damage of 10 million euros.
