After the arrival of Niclas Füllkrug, Milan is evaluating the profile of Andrej Kostic for the January transfer window. He is one of the most interesting names to emerge recently on the Balkan scene and the "Devil" is following him with great attention. The striker, born in 2007, from Podgorica, Montenegro, is considered a high-level prospect and could represent an investment for the present and especially for the future of the red and black team.

Who is Andrej Kostic?

Growing up in the Budućnost academy, Kostic has been burning the stages from a very young age, distinguishing himself both in youth competitions and in the professionals. In the 2024-25 season, he has also been highlighted in the Youth League, where he has left his mark with decisive goals and a sensational hat-trick that has attracted the attention of many observers. In parallel, he has also started to find space in the first team, contributing to winning the national title with very good figures in relation to the minutes played.

His explosion opened the doors of Partizan Belgrade, who decided to invest around one million euros in him. In Serbia, the impact was immediate: a goal on his debut in the championship, consistent scoring even when he was often activated from the bench and important goals in the championship and European cups. The figures speak of a very high average of goals, which has made him one of the most efficient attacking alternatives of the team.

Technical characteristics and role

Kostic has already enjoyed international football. After playing for Montenegro's youth national teams, he made his debut with both the U21s - scoring against Italy - and the senior national team, confirming himself as one of the most promising prospects in Montenegrin football.

Technically, he is a central striker with a strong physical structure (1.88 m), strong in the aerial game and skilled in defending the ball. He can also start from the left to enter the center with the right, knows how to cooperate with teammates and is already very effective in deep attacks.

Milan is closely monitoring him and is evaluating a final operation, with a first phase of integration into the Milan Futuro project, to accompany him in his growth before the big step towards the first team.
