A record in the 2024 European Championship was the extra 12 minutes in the challenge between Scotland and Hungary, which was played at the "MHPArena" in Stuttgart.

The Group A challenge ended 0-1 for the Hungarians, who managed to score through Kevin Csoboth in the 10th minute of extra time, 30 seconds from the end of the match.

The Hungarians were also the ones who dictated the game with more chances in front of the goal but without being able to finish correctly, as the regular 90 minutes were closed with untouched nets.

After the closing of group A, Hungary with 3 points, 2 goals scored and 5 conceded is currently ranked as the third best in the list of third places.
