Armando Broja has returned to Chelsea after his loan spell at Everton ended. The Albanian striker made 11 appearances for Everton but failed to convince manager David Moyes to sign him on a permanent deal.
Broja's journey with Everton has ended, and the Albanian striker will have to return to London to Chelsea. The news was announced by the team's official website where the Albanian was activated for 11 matches. Broja seems not to have convinced coach David Moyes, who has greeted the 4 footballers who stayed on loan in the team he leads.
"We would like to thank our loan players who have contributed to the positive steps we have taken on the pitch. They have all embraced what it means to play for this club and their behaviour and commitment during their time at Everton has been first class. We wish Jack, Jasper, Orel and Armando the very best in their careers," Moyes said.
Armando Broja is going through a not-so-positive period in his career, where he has often been penalized by injuries, which have caused him quite a few problems. Even in his loan at Everton, the Albanian striker was in the same situation, missing several matches for this very reason. He is now expected to join Chelsea, where the leaders will look for another team interested in the 23-year-old's services, after previously stating that there is no place for him at Stamford Bridge.
