Austria takes the first 3 points and shows that it is a real contender in the hell group to go to the 1/8 stage, while Poland suffers its second defeat and is one step closer to elimination.

After a narrow 1-0 loss against France, the Austrians convincingly won 3-1 against Poland, which once again showed that the era of the players at their disposal is already over.

Austria scored first in the ninth minute through Trauner, but the Poles responded and returned the balance in the 30th through Piantek.

The first half ended in a draw, but Austria showed that they were more demanding and increased their attacks on the opponents' goal.

In the 66th minute comes the advantage goal with Baumgartner, as Arnautovic sealed the fate of this meeting from the penalty spot.

In this match there was also for Lewandowski, who, apart from a yellow card, did not leave any other statistics.
