After publishing the list of Hopes for the postponed match against Montenegro, coach Alban Bushi has shown an interesting detail about how he convinced Medon Berisha to join Albania at the time when he was playing with Hopes of Kosovo.

Bushi has stated that he promised Medon Berisha the captain's armband of Hopes of Albania.

"Berisha is for the first time, we were convinced that he would go to the A team very early, but he went earlier than expected. He has been a decisive player for us and the invitation is more than deserved. When I contacted him for the first time, I promised him the captain's armband and he deserved it, he was a leader and I wish him many congratulations for Europe ," said Bushi.

Medon Berisha is the big surprise in coach Sylvinho's list for Euro 2024. He was never selected by the big national team, but he will now do this in the European.

Berisha was the captain of the Hopes of Albania, while with the Lecce team in Serie A, he has been activated as a starter in the last two matches.
