The Greek Cup final between AEK and PAOK was rumored to be played at "Air Albania". Because the derby between Tirana and Partizan was to be played in this stadium on May 17 and it was reserved for another Greek event of the singer Nikos Vertis, it has caused this final to be moved to another stadium.

The AFL has agreed to organize this contested match between the two Greek teams, while sending them to "Elbasan Arena" to play on May 24. Because the police could not secure this challenge, it has been decided to play in Albania, where "Elbasan Arena" will host this final.

The supporters of the black and white team from Seleniku and those of AEK stand out for their aggressiveness and organizing the match in Elbasan will be a big undertaking, perhaps the most important one after the Conference League final.
