Earthquake in Italy, in the betting scandal involving many Serie A players
Fagioli, Tonali and Zaniolo

Serie A and Italian football are expected to be shaken even more in the coming days in terms of the scandal of placing bets by professional footballers.

Three footballers are now under investigation by the prosecution and the Italian Football Federation: Fagioli, Tonali and Zaniolo.

The Italian daily "La Republica" clarifies that the list of suspected footballers may be longer, as the investigations continue. On a server, where a "chat" was discovered, many names of football players appear, without revealing the names of players or teams.

At the moment there is no concrete evidence, but simply messages that seem provocative and may involve many other characters. It seems that Italian football will suffer another betting scandal like the one in the 80s, but back then it was about match-fixing. While this time we are dealing with betting on illegal platforms.
