The President of Ukraine and Prime Minister Edi Rama held a telephone conversation, a day after the devastating Russian attacks on Kiev.
Zelensky says in a post on social media that he informed Prime Minister Rama about the drone attacks, about 300 of which and several dozen missiles hit Kiev overnight, causing at least 12 casualties in civilian areas.
Zelensky's message after the phone call with Rama:
I had a good conversation with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama
I informed him about the recent Russian missile and drone attacks. These attacks show once again that Russia has no intention of ending the war. That is why we need strong enough pressure to finally stop it. We count on all the necessary steps in this direction to be taken in the near future.
We also discussed our cooperation with European partners and our unity. I invited the Prime Minister to participate in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit, and Albania will be represented.
Thank you, Albania, for supporting Ukraine and our people.
