Sali Berisha will register his candidates in the local elections on May 14 through the coalition with Ilir Meta's Freedom Party.

The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Endrit Braimllari, submitted to the Central Election Commission the request for the registration of the electoral coalition consisting of the Freedom Party, the Democratic Party of Albania, the Christian Democratic Party and the Union Party for Human Rights.

According to the official request, the coalition bears the name: "Together We Win!" While the initial letters of the coalition will be BF.

The parties' agreement is attached to the filed request, which reads:

We decided: 1- To form an opposition coalition and to compete together in the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023.

The initial letters of the Coalition will be: "BF". The political leader of the coalition is the Democratic Party of Albania, represented by its governing bodies. The leading party of the coalition, according to the provisions of Article 65 et seq. of the Electoral Code, is the Freedom Party.

To authorize Mr. Endrit Braimllari that:

a. To submit a request for the registration of the Coalition, together with this agreement, to the CEC.

b. To represent the Coalition during the lottery procedure, in the CEC, for the ranking of electoral subjects on the ballot.

c. To assign observers of the Coalition to the CEAZs, KVCs and VNVs, throughout the country.

d. To represent the Coalition and/or authorize other representatives to represent it before the CEC, the Electoral College or other administrative and judicial instances where it will be considered necessary. He has the right to sign for the above.

The concrete terms of cooperation within the coalition will be determined through bilateral agreements of the political parties in its composition.

The multi-name lists for advisers of the Electoral Coalition will include, for each party of the coalition, the number of candidates and the new order, based on the agreements between the parties. Candidates on the multi-name lists of the Coalition, regardless of which party they belong to, will be considered and evaluated as candidates of the Coalition only, avoiding their treatment according to party affiliations.

This agreement enters into force immediately on the day of its signing.

The letter bears the signatures of Ilir Meta, Sali Berisha, Nard Ndoka and Vangjel Dules.
