Voton Alibeaj: Today is the day of the big break with the past
Enkelejd Alibeaj

The commanding chairman of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, voted this Sunday morning in the capital.

In a statement to the media, Alibeaj called on all citizens, regardless of political distinction, to come out and express their will by voting, as according to him May 14 marks the big break with the past.

"I voted for a few minutes because I believe that the choice is easy for everyone today. I have a message for all democrats, honest and free Albanians. Today they should exercise their vote in a calm and measured way to make a big break with the past.

Today is the day, they will have to come and this is in the hands of the Albanians. Big breaks with the past can only be done with massive participation, so I invite anyone, every honest, free Albanian, who is free from blackmail, to come out and vote as your heart and mind wants."

Alibeaj emphasized that there was a general alliance of other political forces to attack the candidates of the official Democratic Party.

"I believe that I have made known all the irregularities that have been concretized, we have demonstrated them throughout the campaign, to our candidates, apparently there is an all-round alliance to attack the Democratic Party. One thing is certain, it will be successful for the Democrats and DP.

Alliance, the whole old 33-year-old part that has dragged this country and created a kind of aversion to politics, today nobody can sit and ponder, they have a thousand and one motives to go out, to change really what Albania should be tomorrow."
