VIDEO/ Rama in England: As you are not only Mr. Bin, not even the Albanians are

Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Britain, before the meeting with Rishi Sunak, he gave several interviews with popular media.

'Daily Mail' revealed the interview that Rama gave today for "Today" of BBC Radio 4. During this interview, Rama condemned the statements used by British politicians towards Albanian immigrants.

Asked if he was criticizing the way British politicians have portrayed Albanian immigrants going to Britain through the English Channel, or the stereotyping of Albanians, Rama replied: "Both are true." Rama asked the British not to allow "a few rotten apples" to shape their perception of Albanians.

"Just as Britain is not James Bond or Mr. Bean, we are not just "Taken", said Rama, referring to Liam Neeson's film where Albanians are portrayed as human traffickers.

We recall that Suella Braverman's statements in October last year caused a diplomatic clash between the two countries after, during a speech in Parliament, she spoke "about Albanian criminals who are being allowed to enter Britain."
