The socialist mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, has reacted after the police escort of his brother Lavdrim Gjici and his companion Qerim Halili, who were denounced by the two residents of the village of Bushat, Bedri and Nebi Sinamati for pressure and violence until the release of firearms and vote buying.
In a statement to the media, Gjici says that the people who were in the "G Class" type car did not buy votes, but are in control of the territory. This is because, according to him, the "Non Gratave" party is buying votes.
"The video showed that our people go to the field to check the van of the gang that buys votes every day, they are like hyenas in every administrative unit just to buy votes and to put pressure, the video clearly shows that there is no guns or money. We are in control, we control the territory from the gangs and the van of the gangs that surrounds the Non Grata candidate. Block all cars with foreign license plates and black windows moving in the territory. We have evidence and videos and we will take them to the law enforcement bodies", said Gjici.
