The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, met in Washington DC with the former American ambassador to our country, Yuri Kim.
Through a post on social networks, Mayor Veliaj writes: " Happy to meet with my old friend, the former US ambassador and the tireless lawyer of Albania, Yuri Kim, in Washington DC. Yuri Kim ended her term in Tirana, to return to Washington, where President Biden has assigned her a higher position, responsible for European Affairs, as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.
