Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech on the podcast "Flasim", said that the US has not banned visas for Albania, but according to him there is a temporary suspension.

He also emphasized that this is a Trump administration policy that concerns the temporary suspension of work permits and not visas in America.

"I have two more words for those who jumped up or continue to jump up and added another jump, disinformation, distortion of public opinion by saying that America banned visas for Albania, this is untrue. The US has not banned visas for Albania, the current administration, under clear guidance, has decided that for 75 countries in the world, some Balkan countries, including Kosovo, to temporarily suspend work permits, not visas to America, but residence permits for work, after they noticed the phenomenon of obtaining visas for tourism and business and then noticed the non-respect of deadlines. So there is no point in connecting with all those who were told and jumped up," he said.
