The U.S. Embassy in Tirana reacted on the 8th anniversary of constitutional changes that paved the way for the justice reform and the establishment of new justice institutions.

What is noticeable in the reaction of the US Embassy is the inconsistence of any political force or politician in particular, as the emphasis is placed on the support that the Albanian people have given to the new institutions of justice.

The U.S. Embassy says their support to the new justice and Albanian citizens will continue.

In this eight-year anniversary of the unanimous adoption of constitutional amendments that paved the way for justice reform, we congratulate the Albanian people for their support in its irving implementation.

As we have said all along, justice reform would not be easy, quick or perfect, but it is delivering results and making Albania a stronger democracy. We are proud to have stood with the people of Albania in this difficult and courageous endeavour.

We will continue to stand by the justice institutions and citizens of Albania as they make progress in the fight against corruption and Albania's rapprochement with the Euro-Atlantic community of nations.
