The meeting of the Municipal Council of Tirana took place today with high tensions and even physical clashes.

It all started when the opposition councilor, Tedi Blushi, threw a bunch of letters at the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and then he got involved in a physical confrontation with the socialist councilor, Halit Valteri.

The latter claims that he was hit with fists and hard objects by Blushi.

It is known that Valteri reported the General Secretary of PL, Tedi Blushi, to the police for violence.

The incident also brought the reaction of the mayor Veliaj, who warned that he will seek legal measures against any street act, as he called the clash between the two councilors.

On the other hand, the leader of the PL, Ilir Meta, accuses Erion Veliaj, the mayor of Tirana, and the socialist councilor, Halit Valteri, of attacking Tedi Blushi.
