SPAK closes the investigations for the 'Partizani' file, reacts Argita

Argita Malltezi (Berisha), the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, appeared today (September 23) at a press conference, just as SPAK announced the call for the submission of the acts of the "Partizani" criminal file for the 5 defendants on Wednesday, September 25 , among them her husband and father.

As the Prosecution accuses them of the "Partizani" affair and will send them soon after the signing on Wednesday for trial at the GJKKO, she says that the indictment against her father "is a decoration", after having done the 30-year vetting of his property and his family.

Malltezi stated that he has never violated the law when exercising his functions and has not benefited at any time.

According to her, "Sali Berisha did not favor Jamarbër Malltez for the privatization of the former Partizani complex".

"The indictment is a decoration for Sali Berisha as he has done the 30-year Vetting of his property and his family members and from this Vetting it follows that Berisha has not violated the law and has never had an illegal benefit. If there had been, it would have been in court for these violations or benefits and not for the land of Jamarbë Malltez's grandmother", she said.

As he further added an allegation of falsification in the investigations:

"This indictment shows the falsifications that have been made by those who have been the main pillars of the investigation. In the first place, regarding the property, they could not be pushed into the fraud that led to the arrest of Berisha and Malltez, because it was allegedly expropriated by Italy. We made available the documents that proved the return of the property and then we made public the documents related to the official notebook".
