In the Supreme Court today, three requests are being examined.
One of them has been filed by SPAK, where the prosecution requests the return to prison of Jamarbë Malltez, who was released from prison by the decision of the judge of Appeal Ilirjana Olldashi.
The other two requests were filed by the lawyers of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi.
Their defense appealed to the security measures executed by judge Irena Gjoka. Berisha's recourse consists of the initial measure imposed by Gjoka, that of "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the territory".
Both of these requests are examined in the consultation room today.
In the meantime, SPAK and GJKKO request the merger of the case of Berisha and Malltez, who request the revocation of the measure in the first instance.
The session was scheduled for March 8 at 09.00, where Irena Gjoka will examine both requests.
