Parliament of Albania

The next plenary session is being held in the Parliament today. Several interpellations are on the agenda.

Initially, 2 interpellations are planned with Prime Minister Edi Rama, called by a group of deputies of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group and the leader of the party, Agron Shehaj.

It is not known whether the head of government will be present in the hall, as he has not been part of the sessions for a long time to respond to requests for interpellations with him.

Further on the agenda are scheduled an interpellation with Minister Lamallari, two interpellations and a question-and-answer session with Minister of Health Sala, two interpellations with Minister Karakaçi, one interpellation with Minister Kumbaro, and one with Minister Andis Salla.

In accordance with order no. 33, dated 19.5.2026 of the President of the Assembly, Mr. Niko Peleshi, the agenda is as follows:

1. Approval of the minutes of the plenary session of 14.5.2026. (Article 44, point 2, of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly)

2. Announcements. (Article 44, point 3, of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly)

3. Urgent interpellation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, requested by a group of deputies of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party.

4. Urgent interpellation with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Besfort Lamallari, requested by a group of deputies of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group.

5. Interpellation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, requested by MPs Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri.

6. Interpellation with the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ms. Evis Sala, requested by MP Saimir Korreshi.

7. Interpellation with the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ms. Evis Sala, requested by MP Erisa Xhixho.

8. Question and answer session with the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ms. Evis Sala, requested by MP Erald Kapri.
