The Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, reacted after the scandal in the Oncology hospital where the doctors had built an extortion scheme against tumor patients, according to the discovery of the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.

Koçiu has stated that all the persons involved have been dismissed. In a statement to the media, she said that "the doctors involved do not deserve to wear the white blouse anymore".

She demanded that the doctors and other people involved be punished according to the law.

According to the investigations of the prosecution, the six doctors are accused of abusing their duties, by not giving the citizens the necessary service at the QSUT, but by directing them to private hospitals, to get the services they were looking for.

Meanwhile, during the investigations, control was exercised in several pharmaceutical entities where a significant amount of suspected and counterfeit contraband goods and an amount of 10,000 Euros were seized in the pharmaceutical entity "Flori Farma".
