The hearing against the deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji in the Court of Appeal has been postponed.

Deputy Salianji has chosen two other lawyers, Redi Ramaj and Marash Logu .

The next session is scheduled for July 25 at 10:00.

Ervin Salianji was sentenced in the Tirana court to 1 year in prison for a false report.

Salianji is accused of the public denunciation of the government's connections with traffickers and of favoring the government to the traffickers by facilitating and cooperating in the illegal activity!

Salianji made a series of denunciations, even from the cannabis fields, about former minister Tahiri's ties to cannabis. Then the Democratic Party and Ervin Salianji claimed that the links to the crime were held by the brother of the former successor minister, Fatmir Xhafaj. The opposition strongly accused that a person sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment in Italy lived free in Albania for more than 8 years after the sentence was handed down in Italy.

In that period, the investigative journalist Jetmir Olldashi published another video where the so-called "Babale" presented himself as the driver of the speedboat of the brother of the former Minister of the Interior.

After his denunciation, the opposition and Salianji published the case, for this a criminal investigation was opened with the report of Agron Xhafaj where Salianji is accused of defamation.

It is worth noting that all the prosecutors and judges who had the case and gave the decision with 1 year in prison in the first instance have been dismissed by the Veting bodies.
