The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja has declared that the draft law on amnesty for prisoners has passed in the Assembly.

Manja said that if this amnesty receives the consent of the deputies, it will give the opportunity to 600 convicts to spend the holidays with their families.

According to him, the two groups that will benefit from this amnesty are women and minors.

"About 600 convicts will benefit, who will be able to spend the holidays with their families. Pro/law will follow the procedure, and after receiving the vote of the deputies, we will also communicate with the President to have a preliminary consent.

It is women and minors who will have an opportunity to return to rehabilitation", said Manja.
