Quarrel in the PS of Kavaja? Candidate for MP: Lowly slander, work continues
Eldian Çepeli

This morning, the media spread the news that the SP candidate on the Open lists of the Tirana District (Kavajë municipality), Eldian Çepeli , was involved in a physical conflict with the SP Kavajë mayor.

After this news, Çepeli himself reacted on social media.

He rejects the claims, stressing that it is a base slander made for political reasons by opponents.

Çepeli further underlines that these slanders show the desperation of the opponents in Tirana as they know their fatal outcome.

Full post:

Today, some opposition media outlets have distributed a fake news story stating that I am involved in a conflict with the chairman of the Kavaja Socialist Party.

Rejecting with disgust this vile slander made for political reasons by opponents, I want to clarify to every citizen of Kavaja and the entire public opinion that: I have not been involved in any conflict, at all, 0.

With full moral and political responsibility and as a citizen of Kavaja, I will continue this electoral race for an unprecedented victory for Edi Rama and the Socialist Party, together with the structures of the PS Kavaja.

We are a large civic and political family and I thank every citizen for their unreserved support!

Slanders of this nature show the despair of our opponents in Tirana as they know their fatal outcome, but they do not stop us in any way on our journey towards the historic May 11th towards a European Albania.

Field work continues
