Prime Minister Edi Rama will address the Council of Europe on October 12 regarding Dick Marty's report, regarding the accusations of illegal trafficking of human organs during the war in Kosovo.
On August 13, Rama announced that Albania has officially requested the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to review Resolution 1782 (2011) and declare unfounded the accusations of illegal trafficking of human organs during the Kosovo Liberation War.
Whereas, a few months ago, 125 deputies in the Albanian Parliament voted in favor of the resolution that overturns Dick Marty's report on the killing of people and organ trafficking in Albania and Kosovo.
This report was then officially forwarded to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
Marty has claimed that KLA members carried out trafficking against Serbian and Kosovar citizens in the north of Albania, in the period after the end of the war in Kosovo, mainly after June 1999.
