Prime Minister Edi Rama, during an electoral meeting with women in Shkodra, stated that Shkodra has been Albania's Europe and according to him, it is up to Shkodra and the people of Shkodra to make a significant decision on May 11, by voting for the Socialist Party for EU integration.
The head of government also focused on infrastructural developments in Shkodra, stating that today all axes of this city are either built or under construction.
"Today, for the first time, when I entered Shkodra, I didn't feel like I was entering Kandahar. It's not just Shkodra, but I'm obsessed with Shkodra because I had my wife here, and since I also have a grandmother from Shkodra, I was so excited and said, 'What do these people have to do with me?' Today, Shkodra not only has hope, but I hope that Shkodra has entered a path of no return, but looking at you here, I believe that half of the men in Shkodra are okay."
If we go outside Shkodra, we have a lot to show. Today, all its axes are either built or under construction. There is no strategic axis that is not, and the horizon is open for those who left Shkodra years ago and who want to return and light the fireplace of their grandparents' house. Given that Shkodra was once the Europe of Albania, it is up to Shkodra to make a significant decision on May 11, not for me, nor for the SP, but for its own history. It is up to Shkodra to seize the historic opportunity we have today for the EU and not look left or right, but only straight, because today we are the right force in the right place and time, " said Rama.
The Prime Minister emphasizes that with entry into the European Union, Albania will no longer be what it is now, but will be a totally new Albania.
"Shkodra must choose its future on May 11, because the moment Albania joins the EU, it is no longer this Albania, but a new Albania ," Rama emphasized.
Rama said that it was the work of girls and women that the Socialist Party received the mandate in this region, to make changes according to him, which the opposition had not previously made. The head of government even called the work done by women to vote for the Socialist Party and not for the Democratic Party, the latter for which Shkodra was known for the largest number of votes in Shkodra, a "conspiracy".
It didn't take long for him to call the work done by the opposition a quagmire, just like other times, and Rama immediately added that in just 2 years, more work has been done in Shkodra than in the previous years of the DP.
"Here in Shkodra, all this has a very special meaning. Because today, fortunately, thanks to you and the majority of the citizens of Shkodra, I am no longer in the position to come here, as I have come many times, begging you, amen, amen, trust me with this job just once and let me show you what happens, and then judge for yourself. Just once, no. Every time you trusted the swamp, dive deeper, vote for the swamp more. May the Great God, thanks to you, because I know that it was a conspiracy of yours that you made the men say, come on, let's go try this other path because we died repeating the same thing. Today, we have the opportunity to show everyone that in 2 years, we have done for Shkodra what was not done in all the previous years taken together. Even worse for them, because in 2 years, we have built as much as we could, but we have not done any damage. While all the previous years, they "They built a rock and only caused damage ," Rama said.
