To the people of Shkodran, Edi Rama explained why Albania, with the socialist government, is heading in the right direction, a fact that has emerged in polls.

And while the opposition has its hopes of victory on May 11 in Chris Lacivita's American electoral strategy, Edi Rama showed who and what a German advises him on.

" The projection for 2030 is 35 billion, but here I must make a specification, our projections are not like those fairy tales, they are not like those that these parties that come around, 'we will do this and we will do that'. These are projections of the country's government, they are not programs to get votes and this projection was made by experts from the Ministry of Finance and in cooperation. We also cooperate a lot with international experts in different fields, while the German Chancellor's chief economist works directly with me, who stayed with her for 10 years and all this that we talk about the economy, are things... because we cannot come out as a government and say 'We will make GDP in 2030, 50 billion'. The moment I come out and do this, before the meeting is over and I am not exaggerating anything, at all, before the meeting is over between those groups of negotiators, a phone call comes and says; 'what is this?'

Or in any other direction because the negotiations are an agreement between a 'house' of rich people with 27 countries and another country, which must pass the entire check-up of its state capacities and which must prove with all the shortcomings and all the backwardness that it may have with those who are inside, it must prove that it is a state with institutions and that speaks and does things properly. We cannot throw fireworks, we cannot come out and say that we will make pensions 500 euros, because at that moment, we do not have any credibility there to continue the discussions .

We must not forget how we found Albania in 2013, said Edi Rama, citing the pension system as an example.

"We took over the country with an official public debt of 70% or so, but it wasn't that. The problem we found was the hidden debt that had blocked the economy, and it is known that people evaluate a government for what it does. But it is said in a word, ''economists evaluate the government for what it does not allow to happen'' and in this case it is not the government. In this case, it is the Albanian people who in 2013, saved Albania by a thread, by changing the hands of the leadership, because in 2013 Albania was on the verge of a second collapse very similar to that of the pyramids, because it was blocked. How was it blocked? On top of this debt, there was another debt of about 700 million, which is not a little, it is a lot for Albania, which was debt to companies. 

Here we are in the labor market. For the first time, unemployment is below 10% and here I want to make a clarification. Because many people say "ah it has fallen, people have left". No, it is not a percentage of the population, it is a percentage of the labor force. How much of the labor force do you have and how much of the labor force do you have out of work. It is not a general percentage. It is not a percentage including pensioners and children, only the labor force and it is the first drop in double digits, 8.8%.
