Prime Minister Edi Rama continued the electoral campaign within the May 14 elections in Pogradec.

During his speech, Prime Minister Rama stated that a project worth 15 million euros is a process that will include the entire area of ​​Drilon.

"Today, thanks to the work of the mayor and the support we have given him, Pogradeci no longer has a problem with the sewers and after decades there is no more dirty water flowing into the lake where one of the greatest assets of this community lies it is the strongest incentive to invest and more to make Pogradec a destination and more touristic. We have a large project underway, 15 million euros, which is on the construction site in the Drilon area. We have another project for the promenade by the Pogradec lake, a project that will transform Pogradec. We have a number of other projects. I know that we still have a debt to the area of ​​Mokra where there is still potential for the development of tourism and where the necessary infrastructure is missing to give a boost to the economy of the area" , said Rama.

Rama has also taken stock of the works done during the governance.

"We are at a great historical turning point for our economy because we have worked hard for this day. We have made many reforms, we have gone through many difficulties, citizens have faced austerity measures, but on the other hand, in this effort to take Albania to another level, we have had to face the unexpected, starting with the earthquake, then we are faced with the pandemic, with that death that caused us so much stress and so much pain. We continue to face a difficult situation created by the war. We have worked hard, we have managed to enter a historical process of the highest salary increase ever", said Rama.

During his speech, he gave his reasons why SP candidates should be voted for on May 14.

"In these elections, we have a simple idea that we will decide on May 14 who we will hire to stay in charge of the work in the service of the communities. We have many reasons not to have a dilemma because it is clear what we do and what they do. Here you had them and Pogradec remained as orphans in the group of municipalities that continued to advance. The same happens every time power falls into their hands" , concluded Rama.
