"Tirana Diplo 2024" is the title of the Ambassadors' conference, which opens today in Tirana.

" We live today in a time marked by a historical transformation of Albania, and whoever says otherwise ignores the facts or, even worse, fights with the facts, both in the internal plan and that of the democratic construction of the state. The progress of this time is visible and universally welcomed Our diplomacy has entered a new dynamic and has played a key role in this transformative time and must be pushed even further, said Prime Minister Edi Rama.

As evidence that Albania has undergone a historic transformation in international diplomacy and this is thanks to the work of the ambassadors, there are two important international events which Albania will be the organizer of.

Next year we will be the country that will host the leaders of 44 European countries from Great Britain to Ukraine or from Sweden, Norway to Turkey, next year at the summit of the European Political Community. We will host the NATO summit in 2027. Things that could not even be imagined years ago. That Albania was entrusted with such roles "

 "Tirana Diplo 2024" is held from August 26-28 at the Palace of Congresses and the ambassadors and general consuls of the Republic of Albania are present.

The three-day conference started at 09:30, where Prime Minister Edi Rama and ministers, Pirro Vengu, Minister of Defense and Petrit Malaj, Minister of Finance, are present at the conference.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is the organizer of the conference that will focus on the challenges of Albanian diplomacy in the process of integration into the European Union, regional and security developments, economic and cultural diplomacy and tourism.
