Prime Minister Edi Rama will convene the Socialist Party parliamentary group at the Palace of Congresses today at 11:00. The focus of the discussions will be the public and citizen communication strategy, which will be presented by Minister for Parliamentary Relations Eriona Ismaili.
The meeting will begin with a speech by the chairman of the parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, and then with a speech by Prime Minister Rama.
Arbjan Mazniku, the co-chair of the territorial reform, will also report to the socialist group and Prime Minister Rama. The work of the commission so far and the progress of the process at a time when deadlines are limited and the commission must come up with a draft within July, are expected to be part of the report.
What is also striking is the report of the Director of the State Cadastre Agency, Lorena Goxhobelli, not before the assembly, but before the socialist group in the Palace of Congresses. An unusual report for the "Cadastre", an institution subordinate to the Prime Minister.
Earlier, the Head of Government announced changes in this agency that began with the relocation of the Vlora Cadastre to the capital, which, as Rama himself warned, will continue with other directorates.
The deputies will have the opportunity to discuss any topic that will be addressed, with a big question mark whether the long-distance clash between Taulant Balla and Elisa Spiropali will also be addressed. Balla and Spiropali were involved in public retorts due to the former minister's violation of a political decision.
The absence of former Minister Spiropali in parliament when the socialist group voted against lifting Belinda Balluku's immunity was read as a violation of the majority's political decision. Prime Minister Rama handed over this task to Taulant Balla, while the latter said that he will consult the group on possible measures against the former minister.
