Chief socialist Edi Rama convenes the National Assembly of the Socialist Party today in Gjirin e Lalëzi in Durrës within the framework of the process of re-organizing the structures and revitalizing the pink headquarters. 

The meeting will be held at a resort and is expected to start at 11.00 with the speech of Prime Minister Rama.

The focus will be on the implementation of the tasks left earlier for the party structures, as well as the correction of the problems and deficiencies identified in the socialist organizations and new memberships. This part of the work will be directed by the general secretary Blendi Klosi, while afterwards there will be reports from the members of the Assembly on the work done.

The work agenda also provides for the approval of two draft instructions on "general party elections" and "selection criteria for candidates for party congress delegates".

The process of revitalizing the party takes place only a few months before the official start of work for the 2025 parliamentary elections.
